SMDG to Present at Oxford Global Discovery & Development Europe 2026
SMDG is pleased to announce its participation in the Discovery & Development Europe 2026, taking place on 15–16 June 2026. The event will bring together more than 1,000 leaders from biotech, pharma, and academia to explore the latest innovations accelerating drug discovery and development.
As part of the scientific programme, Dr. Shadi Farhangrazi will present SMDG’s work on advancing genetic medicine therapeutics for rare pediatric diseases. Her talk will highlight the company’s proprietary platforms and their potential to overcome long-standing barriers in targeted gene-based therapies.

Dr. Shadi Farhangrazi will be speaking at the Westminster Health Forum on 15 May 2026 as part of a session on advancing women’s health across research, development, and innovation.
Joining a panel of experts from across healthcare, research, and industry, she will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and inflammatory diseases in women — addressing critical gaps in research, representation in clinical trials, and the development of effective therapies.
Dr. Farhangrazi will also share insights from SMDG's latest research and highlight the urgent need for greater investment in women’s health to drive innovation and improve outcomes.
