This shared platform foundation allows SMDG to advance multiple programs while applying common expertise in therapeutic design, formulation, delivery and preclinical development.
Our Areas of Focus
Published preclinical research demonstrated that intravenously administered NanoLigand Carriers™ crossed the blood–brain barrier, reached the brain parenchyma and delivered functional siRNA to the brain, with localization to neurons and microglia. No toxicity or inflammatory response was observed under the evaluated study conditions.
